What are the benefits?

How long does the hair need to be?
Hair should be one fourth of an inch long or the length of a grain of rice which is typically two weeks of growth.
Does it hurt?
Yes, there is some pain involved. My goal is to make sure you are comfortable during your appointment.
How can I prepare for my appointment?
You may gently exfoliate 1 day prior to your appointment (not the day of). This will help exfoliate dead skin cells around the base of the hair.
Avoid caffeine and alcohol 24 hours prior to appointment.
Some find taking Tylenol or Ibuprofen 30 minutes prior can help minimize pain.
How often should I get waxed?
Face: 2-4 weeks
Underarms: 2-3 weeks
Bikini: 4 weeks
Other: 4-6 weeks
*This is a general time frame every body is different.
Contraindications?
The following medications can cause skin sensitivity and skin to lift when waxed.
Antibiotics
Topical acne medications such as Retinols, Epiduo, Differin, Alpha hydroxy acids etc.
Accutane/Isotretinoin
*You must be off Accutane for 6 months before waxing.
Please check your medications prior.
